Mostyn Bramley-Moore
Painting my way out of trouble.
Join us for the final Art in the Pub of 2016 with painter, drawer and educator Mostyn Bramley-Moore. Working in a variety of media, Mostyn is best known for his paintings and works on paper, which investigate landscape, identity and narrative.
Mostyn's work is included in many major collections, including the Australian National Gallery, the National Gallery of Victoria, Queensland Art Gallery, Artbank and Auckland Art Gallery. He exhibits with and is represented by Watters Gallery, Sydney, Andrew Baker Art Dealer, Brisbane and Mossgreen Gallery, Melbourne. He has lived and worked in the United States, France and Britain. In recent years he has undertaken residencies as a visiting artist at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the University of Pennsylvania and Camberwell College of Arts, University of Arts London.
Currently, Mostyn supervises both honors and research higher degree students, and is the Convenor of Painting for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Queensland College of the Arts, Griffith University.
